Think beyond this nine letter word…
Think deeper than this minute and how you feel just this second…
Is it a smile, a laugh, a good day or a great meal?
Is it measured by the actions that are flooded on us every time goodness comes our way?
Is it calculated by the good deeds we selflessly present to others?
Is it measured by the little devil in us that relaxes on our shoulders while pushing us to do the things we want to do selfishly for ourselves?
And it is in our right, to be every once in a while, a culprit of a very innocent selfish crime, right?
Does happiness really appear on those terms?
In these moments?
Every time we purchase something new?
Does happiness permanently stick like the strongest glue used on metal, wood and marble and gets stored in one of the arteries?
I see happiness, as a fluttering and dancing breezy heart.
When you just smile endlessly out of the blue for no reason but can’t stop. When you look at the future with full potential, love, devotion and dramatic impatience. When nothing small or a bit bigger can ruin your hyper, over excited and loyal mood. When all of a sudden you constantly want to listen to crazy music and sing along as if no one in the world around you ceases to exist. When the world suddenly seems like a safe place and every misery seems like a problem that can be resolved. When you unravel yourself from all your fears, your hesitations, your doubts and you finally open your safe soul to endless risky and ever so challenging opportunities.
It’s when your heart beats dances with you at every step you take, when your eyes sing and smile at every tiny thing you speak of and it is when your aura speaks for itself, it translates a center of power so strong it can destruct the darkest of miserable realms and then utters its own language, the language of graceful happiness.
It’s when you pinch yourself, just making a reality check, assuring yourself that isn’t all a foolish dream you’re stuck into too deep.
It is a big word for us humans, a big meaning, value and a responsibility to keep it reserved comes in this smiley face package. How we perceive it differs from me to you, there are no boundaries, borders, frames, it’s made of glittery jimmies, pink sugar crystals; it is a big sound that comes with no dark tunnels, no heavy, hot and humid tear droplets, and no unrecoverable hurricanes.
Everything else in life you seek like tranquility, serenity, peace and most of all love as pure as we wish for to exist in the deepest of our hearts and in the mightiest of our souls are all cornerstones of this very big word, HAPPINESS.
It takes nothing, not much at all, to say I’m not happy today, or I’m not happy at all, but really think about it, it takes true essence of content to say I’m really happy and actually mean it.
